సినీయర్ నటి అంజలీదేవి (86) కన్నుమూశారు. 

అనారోగ్యంతో బాధపడుతున్న ఆమె సోమవారం చెన్నైలోని విజయ హాస్పటల్‑లో చికిత్స పొందుతూ తుది శ్వాస విడిచారు. గత వారం రోజులుగా అంజలీదేవి ఆస్పత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు. వెండితెర సీతగా వెలుగొందిన అంజలీదేవి తన నటనతో ప్రేక్షకుల హృదయాల్లో సుస్థిర స్థానం పొందారు. 1928 ఆగస్ట్ 24న తూర్పుగోదావరి జిల్లా పెద్దపురంలో అంజలీదేవి జన్మించారు. ఆమె అసలు పేరు అంజనీ కుమారి. అవయవ దానం కోసం అంజలీ దేవి భౌతికకాయాన్ని చెన్నై రామచంద్రా మెడికల్ కళాశాలకు పంపారు.

ఆమెకు ఇద్దరు కొడుకులున్నారు. అంజలీ దేవి అనగానే అలనాటి పౌరాణిక చిత్రాలే గుర్తుకొస్తాయి. అనార్కలీగా, సీతగా.. ఇలా పలుపాత్రలకు ఆమె జీవం పోశారు. ఎన్టీ రామారావు, అక్కినేని నాగేశ్వరరావుల సరసన అత్యధిక సినిమాల్లో ఆమె హీరోయిన్‑గా నటించారు.  అక్కినేని, నందమూరిల సరసన హీరోయిన్‌గానే కాకుండా వారికి తల్లిగా కూడా కొన్ని సినిమాల్లో నటించడం ఓ విశేషం. 'గొల్లభామ' సినిమాతో అంజలీదేవి చిత్ర పరిశ్రమకు పరిచయం అయ్యారు. ప్రముఖ సంగీత దర్శకుడు ఆదినారాయణరావును ఆమె వివాహం చేసుకున్నారు. ‘లవకుశ’ సినిమాలోని సీత పాత్రకు ప్రేక్షకులు బ్రహ్మరథం పట్టారు. అలాగే ఆమె నటించిన కీసువర్ణ సుందరి, అనార్కలి, కీలుగుర్రం, భక్తతుకారాం, బడిపంతులు, శ్రీ షిర్డిసాయిబాబా మహత్యం, చెంచులక్షి తదితర చిత్రాల్లో ఆమె నటించారు.

500 పైగా చిత్రాల్లో నటించిన అంజలీదేవి మృతి పట్ల తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ దిగ్ర్భాంతి వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ఆమె హిందీ చిత్ర సీమలో కూడా తనకంటూ ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. ఆమె హిందీలో 28 చిత్రాల్లో నటించారు. ఆమె 27 చిత్రాలకు నిర్మాణ సారథ్య బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టారు. 1955లో అనార్కలి చిత్రానికి ఉత్తమ నటిగా ఫిల్మ్‌ఫేర్ అవార్డును అందుకోగా, 1957లో సువర్ణ సుందరి చిత్రానికి ఉత్తమ నటిగా ఫిల్మ్‌ఫేర్ అవార్డు, 1958లో చెంచులక్ష్మి చిత్రానికి ఉత్తమ నటిగా ఫిల్మ్‌ఫేర్ అవార్డును, 1959లో జయభేరి చిత్రానికి ఉత్తమ నటిగా ఫిల్మ్‌ఫేర్ అవార్డును అందుకున్నారు.

సినీ పరిశ్రమకు చేసిన సేవలకు గాను అంజలీదేవికి 2005లో రఘుపతి వెంకయ్య అవార్డు, 2006లో రామినేని అవార్డు, 2008లో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమైన అక్కినేని నాగేశ్వరరావు అవార్డులు లభించాయి. 1994లో అంజలీదేవి ’పోలీస్‌ అల్లుడు’ సినిమాలో నటించిన తర్వాత, మళ్లీ ఏ సినిమాలోనూ నటించలేదు.

Nadhiya has suddenly become the most sought after artist and makers are queued at her house to book her call sheets. The reason? This 40+ actress is not beautiful but even very talented in front of the camera!

Asin and Pawan Kalyan, who was paired up few years ago in Annavaram movie and is set to romance again as per the latest buzz. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made by the filmmakers.

Pawan Kalyan's close aid Sharat Marar is producing the movie on North Star Entertainments banner while Sampath Nandi is wielding the megaphone for the sequel. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the tunes.

Ever since "Baahubali" shooting started it's like a package of many surprises. Everyday an interesting news was coming out from this big budgeted flick

Andhala Rakshasi fame Lavanya Tripathi name was considered initially but later they opted Tamanna for unknown reasons. Confirming the news on his official Facebook page, the director wrote, "Tamannaa joins Baahubali team.. She plays the role of "Avanthika"

Recent news is that Milky babe Tamanna roped for lead role in "Baahubali". Tamanna playing role of Avanthika. Prabhas is playing dual role and one character named Baahubali and the other named Shivudu. Anushka will be paired opposite Baahubali while tammu  will be featured opposite Shivudu.

After the ‘Rebel’ movie this is the second time Tamanna is pairing besides Prabhas. This news has brought a great craze on this film. Tamannaa is currently shooting for Mahesh Babu-starrer Aagadu and a couple of Bollywood films. “Baahubali” is expected to release in the year 2015

Career

Prabhas started his movie career with Eeshwar in 2002. In 2003, he was the lead in Raghavendra. He 

gained popularity in2004 with M. S. Raju's Varsham opposite Trisha Krishnan.[9] He followed this with Adavi Raamudu and Chakram. In September 2005 he acted in the film Chatrapathi opposite Shriya Saran. Chatrapathi was a major success followed by Pournami and Yogi, which were box office flops. Munna, an action,Drama film which starred Ileana D'Cruz, came out in 2007 was his third hit after Varsham and Chatrapathi, followed by the action,comedy Bujjigadu in 2008, which was his third film opposite Trisha . In 2009 his two films Billa and Ek Niranjan were successful at the box office. In Billa Prabhas was paired with Anushka Shetty for the first time.

In 2010 he had only one release, the romantic comedy Darling. The film was a critical and commercial success in which Prabhas was paired with Kajal Aggarwal. Prabhas's performance was praised by critics and he won CineMaa Awards Best Actor (Jury) for his role. He had one release in 2011, Mr. Perfect, another romantic comedy. This was his second film with Kajal which also starred Taapsee Pannu. The film was praised by critics and became a boxoffice blockbuster. In 2012, Prabhas starred in Rebel, an action film starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Deeksha Seth and directed by Raghava Lawrence. Rebel received mixed reviews from critics and was average at the box office. His next film was Mirchi with debutante director Koratala Shiva starring Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay. Previously this film was named Vaaradhi. The film fetched highly positive reviews upon release. The movie also became blockbuster of Tollywood in the year. He will be seen in Baahubali directed by S. S. Rajamouli opposite Anushka Shetty for the third time along with Rana Daggubati.

Mahesh Babu (born Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni on 9 August 1975 ) is an Indian film actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema. Born to actor Krishna in the Ghattamaneni family, Mahesh Babu faced the camera at the age of four as a child artist in 1979's Needa. His first leading role was in the film Rajakumarudu, which was released in August 1999

After playing the role of a young Kabaddi player in the 2003 blockbuster film Okkadu, Mahesh continued in this vein, gaining mass appeal and appearing in many successful films such as Murari (2001), Athadu (2005), Pokiri (2006), Dookudu (2011), Businessman (2012) and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013)

Mahesh Babu was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to prominent Telugu Cinema actor Ghatamaneni Siva Rama Krishna and Smt. Indira Devi on 9 August 1975. He is the younger brother of actor turned producer Ramesh Babu Ghattamaneni. He also has two elder sisters, Padmavathi and actress-producer Manjula Ghattamaneni and one younger sister Priyadarshini. All siblings have acted in films as child artistes. Mahesh's childhood was spent mostly in Madras under the care of his maternal grandmother Smt. Durgamma and the rest of his family.

His father made sure all the children spent sufficient time with him on location and on his sets, especially during holidays. Mahesh many times said that this was where his interest for acting began.The film sets were a second playground and he did not hesitate to face the camera when asked to do a small role in his brother Ramesh Babu's debut film, Needa at the age of four. Mahesh studied at St. Bede's School in Chennai while continuing to attend his dad's filming during holidays. Surya (Tamil film actor) was one of his schoolmates. Mahesh obtained an Honours Degree in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. Mahesh Babu acted in seven of his father's films as a child actor.

Personal life

Mahesh dated Bollywood actress and former Femina Miss India Namrata for five years. She was his co-star in the movie Vamsi. They got married on 10 February 2005 in Mumbai. They have two children, son Gautam Krishna (born 31 August 2006) and daughter Sitara (born 20 July 2012).
